The Path Of Spiritual Enlightenment

Most spiritual paths add layers. Direct Realization is an engineering process of subtraction. Stop running from discomfort and start emptying the vessel. This is not a path; it is the dissolution of the one who walks it. A direct cure for the Mitoté.

The Path Of Spiritual Enlightenment

In This Video:

Rohan dismantles the common spiritual trap of running from discomfort. He presents a clinical alternative: Direct Realization through non-resistance. The core instruction is to 'empty the vessel' by systematically questioning all beliefs and ideologies, rather than adding more concepts. This inner engineering requires moving towards one's weakest points—the shadows—because they are the doorways to freedom. Unlike spiritual practices used for distraction, this Direct Path dissolves the root of suffering by revealing that there is no separate 'somebody' to save. It is a process of subtraction, not accumulation, culminating in the cessation of seeking.

  • What is my primary method of 'running' when discomfort appears (e.g., the fridge, phone, spiritual concepts)?
  • Where is my 'weakest' point—the feeling or belief I most consistently avoid investigating?
  • In what ways have I used 'spiritual practice' as a sophisticated form of distraction to keep my shadows hidden?
  • Can I identify the 'imaginary steering wheel' I'm gripping now, trying to control a situation that is already in motion?
  • What single belief must be questioned today to begin the 'emptying process' and create space?

[00:11:15] You know, our default response to pain quite often is to run, isn't it? It's automatic. [00:11:21] Running in a whole different ways. People go to the fridge, we've talked about this many times, in different ways. [00:11:29] The trick with this game is when you're feeling, the key, one of the key key points is when you're feeling not at your best, let's say, when you're feeling low, you're feeling depressed, you're feeling scared. [00:11:42] It's when you come closer. You step towards this because this is the ultimate cure for it all. [00:11:48] Non-duality, awakening, enlightenment, self-realization, whatever you want to call it. [00:11:54] The worst thing you can do is run because this is the only way out. [00:11:58] It isn't destructive. And the destruction maybe very slow, can take a lifetime to achieve, or it can be very rapid. [00:12:08] And over in a second. Is that how it is? [00:12:12] And this reason, so if you play this game properly, what I call properly. [00:12:18] Properly means you go looking for where you're weakest. [00:12:23] Where is my weakest? And you learn to be there and stay comfortable there and become comfortable there until your weakness, your weakest is fully accepted. [00:12:35] Is fully loved. Is fully cared for. [00:12:39] And little by little, a light of consciousness gets shined on all of our shadows. [00:12:45] And we empty. [00:12:47] The problem with a lot of people that come to rooms like this is they are so full, and they don't want to empty. [00:12:54] And you cannot pack any more into a full vessel. [00:12:58] And this is this is what this is about anyway. We have to start the emptying process. [00:13:03] And the emptying process is questioning all your beliefs and all your ideologies. [00:13:09] And these structures you take for granted of how you're supposed to be and how the world's supposed to be. [00:13:15] And if you're not prepared to do that, then what you can do is go hide out in a chanting monastery or somewhere where they just chant, don't talk about anything, or you can go into devotional, purely devotional, different things, but it's a long slow, slow, slow progress. [00:13:33] It's process. Because you can hide your shadows can hide easily. [00:13:38] If you're just distracting yourself all the time. [00:13:41] And then certain spiritual practice can be used as a distraction. [00:13:45] Almost all of them can be used as a distraction. [00:13:48] So most people want to take themselves to awakening and you can't. [00:13:52] Doesn't work that way. And why would you want to? [00:13:56] The probably the reason you're doing this in the first place is because life there's something missing. [00:14:02] Something's wrong. And the thing that's missing is the the knowledge that the realization that you're not a somebody. [00:14:10] So wanting to take somebody home to awakening is is is not possible. [00:14:16] It's not how it works. [00:14:18] And that that can be scary for people, but look at it long enough, it's actually freeing. [00:14:23] Look at it long enough with clarity. It's not an easy game. [00:14:27] The rewards are the ultimate reward. It's your freedom. [00:14:31] Complete freedom is the ultimate reward. [00:14:34] So if you are prepared to take true steps in the direction of freedom, that they accept if they find out about this work and where it goes and have a satori or an experience of what I'm talking about. [00:14:46] They would rather take the blue pill and just go back into the matrix of thought and relationships and ideas and concepts and successes and the the there's a pot of gold over there if I just work hard enough. [00:15:02] And then that pot of gold is joy and happiness and contentment and a great life. [00:15:07] And it's not, it's already here. [00:15:10] You know, it's the greatest con. It's the greatest con. [00:15:14] Now is as good as it gets, always. [00:15:18] And the more you stay in the now, the better your nows get. [00:15:22] Because you start to empty, you see. [00:15:24] And as you empty and empty and empty, and all the ideologies and ideas and the masks and the and the grasping and the averting starts to drop away, and there's this incredible space left behind. [00:15:37] That you are. Beyond this transitorily form. [00:15:42] This vehicle, the consciousness is looking through and exploring through, observing through. [00:15:48] And this vehicle drops and another one comes up. And that drops, and another one comes up. [00:15:53] And each one that comes up, we think it's separate, and individual. [00:15:58] And it's gonna conquer the world or etcetera, etcetera. [00:16:01] It's a cycle of Samsara. Illusion. Maya, illusion. [00:16:07] There's nobody going nowhere. And it's wonderful. [00:16:11] Because the realization is there's nowhere to go. [00:16:14] It's just here. It's just now. Awareness. [00:16:18] And once that is firmly, um, once beingness has locked its GPS on to this form, and then then it integrates completely with the form. [00:16:29] You may want to play in the world. No problem, but it won't be from a needy place, needing of justification, needing of attention, needing of love. [00:16:39] And needing of recognition, agreement that you exist as somebody. [00:16:44] Minus all that, freedom. World becomes a play. You become it's a toy. [00:16:51] You're a toy to play. Beingness's toy. Less flattering God's bitch. [00:16:58] That's what I was gonna say. It's one of It's one of You just you're on a ride, you know? [00:17:04] When you get on the roller coaster, you don't choose, oh, no, I don't really want to do the loop. I think I'll go left now. [00:17:10] See that's what we do. We think we're on this this life roller coaster. [00:17:15] And we imagine that we can separate off and go, no, I'm not gonna do the loop. I'm gonna go left. [00:17:21] And then we begin to suffer. No, I don't like loops. I I want to go right. I I don't want to go left. [00:17:27] And on we go, fighting, fighting, fighting, resisting, resisting, resisting, just instead of letting go and enjoying the ride. [00:17:35] And the wonderfulness of the ride. [00:17:37] Her mind comes in and goes, no, left, I don't want to go right. [00:17:41] So, you just let go. Loop, go left, go right. Wait, where's it taking me now? [00:17:47] Wait, what's next? Don't even that thought. Just completely in the moment. [00:17:52] See we all think we've got a steering wheel on the roller coaster. We don't. We don't. Sorry. [00:17:59] But it's great. Because the steering wheel would also be the one thing, wouldn't it? [00:18:03] Or it would be every the one thing plus the steering wheel. [00:18:07] Is that is that like 1 plus 1? Or is it just one? [00:18:11] Can I assume this moment was supposed to happen? [00:18:14] Did I, can I live my life as if I wrote the story, as if this moment is what I wrote in my script? [00:18:21] Good, bad and ugly. Quote, unquote. [00:18:24] Can I live my life as if this is what I wrote? [00:18:27] So you can relax, you can let go, stop resisting, stop trying to turn the wheel in the opposite direction all the time. [00:18:35] What's what's the moment presenting? How can I integrate into the moment without resistance? [00:18:41] Can I assume this moment was supposed to happen? [00:18:44] Don't assume you're running everything. As a separate identity. [00:18:49] Because first there would have to be a separate identity, other than the one that you've imagined and others have imagined for you. [00:18:57] And others have imagined for you, and you've agreed to. From their imagined identity.
