In This Video:
This transmission addresses a critical pattern for practitioners: the ego-structure's attempt to manage its own dissolution. When a student describes a 'falling feeling,' Rohan identifies this not as drama, but as the direct experience of moving from a perceived space to no-space—the doorway of the heart opening to emptiness. The core 'shadow' is the mind's immediate interference: 'Am I falling the right way?' This question is framed as the desperate last act of a dying entity. The instruction is not to find a better technique, but to cease all doing, drop all knowledge—which are just bridges or machetes useful for a journey but burdensome at the destination—and simply allow the deconstruction to occur.
- Where does your ego-structure inject the question 'Am I doing this right?' into your direct experience?
- What 'spiritual knowledge' do you carry like a machete, believing it is essential for survival, even after arriving at the destination?
- Can you observe the mind's final bursts of energy—its last attempts to control the process—as the 'flashes of a dying entity'?
- How does the demand for a 'correct way to fall' prevent the simple act of letting go?
- What agreements have you made that define spiritual progress as a form of 'doing' rather than a systematic 'undoing'?
“There’s nothing to add. What you are is prior to beliefs, thoughts and labels.
Here we explore and unveil the ultimate mystery of non-dual being.

[00:00:07] Like when I go into my heart,
[00:00:12] I just, I think it's like the falling feeling.
[00:00:15] Is that
[00:00:17] drama?
[00:00:19] No, that's not drama.
[00:00:22] That's um, reality when all the heart's the doorway. I say that all the time. When you go into your heart and you start getting deeper,
[00:00:30] it's gonna be like a discovery of emptiness.
[00:00:33] And a falling from
[00:00:35] a perceived space to a no-space.
[00:00:46] But you could make that dramatic if you want.
[00:01:01] And up and down is all based in perception.
[00:01:04] And as you disappear, your perception shifts and it's just a sense of falling.
[00:01:11] And you just allow that and allow that and allow that.
[00:01:16] I think when I'm falling,
[00:01:19] But it's not a horrible feeling or anything, is it? It's quite...
[00:01:22] No.
[00:01:22] It's quite amazing.
[00:01:23] What I don't
[00:01:24] It's like, you know, when you're a little kid and you go over the speed bumps and you get that little, it's like that ongoing.
[00:01:29] Incredible feeling you, you desperately want when you're a kid. And you know where those
[00:01:33] little lumps in the road are, 'it's coming, it's coming'.
[00:01:37] And it just can go on and on.
[00:01:47] Nice work.
[00:01:57] I think when I'm falling, um what I,
[00:02:00] what...
[00:02:01] what the bad feeling comes from is
[00:02:07] like thought of
[00:02:10] falling in the right way.
[00:02:15] Go head first.
[00:02:18] Or
[00:02:19] it's like... I hear like is this just like heaps of...
[00:02:28] Thomas, do I need to get out? Do I need to do this? Like...
[00:02:31] You need to do absolutely nothing.
[00:02:34] Yeah.
[00:02:34] Just
[00:02:36] allow, allow, allow and drop all ideas of doing or controlling anything.
[00:02:43] That's the whole game.
[00:02:47] Because they're all ideas.
[00:02:54] I think it comes from, before I came here, I didn't know a lot of the things that I do now, even though I don't know much now, but
[00:03:05] Well, it's perfect. It's best people come here.
[00:03:07] Yeah.
[00:03:08] With no idea because then
[00:03:11] it's been a ton of time undoing everything to get them on the right track.
[00:03:14] Yeah.
[00:03:19] That's an advantage.
[00:03:20] Yeah.
[00:03:21] But anyway, yeah.
[00:03:22] That knowledge is like... it's more... it's like more weaved into mind.
[00:03:30] If that makes sense. Like it's
[00:03:34] Yeah, it does. So you, if... Yeah, no, you continue a bit more first. Like, let's hear what you got to say. Make sure I'm hearing you right.
[00:03:43] Um, so
[00:03:46] like
[00:03:48] the knowledge is like churning through more thought almost.
[00:03:52] Like... yes. Drop that knowledge now. You don't need any of it.
[00:03:59] That's what I thought you were going.
[00:04:01] They're all bridges, all knowledge is bridges.
[00:04:04] And and and it's all, burn it all.
[00:04:10] I don't think I know how to.
[00:04:12] Well, just by when the mind arises with knowledge and ideas and stuff, all you need to know is just to let go and let go and just allow.
[00:04:21] This isn't helping me. Unless it's... unless you're obviously having, uh, in the wrong direction somehow,
[00:04:27] you catch it and there's some knowledge that might turn you around and get you back and then you throw that away again.
[00:04:32] Don't carry it.
[00:04:35] But ultimately, it's a state of just complete let go.
[00:04:39] Completely as it is without any interference because there's no you to interfere actually. But you, it's imagination that's doing that. It's the mind, just the ego. It's not real.
[00:04:51] And it's just interfering again. So you just let go.
[00:04:54] Completely let go.
[00:04:56] It's the mind going, "I need to fall this way and be that way. Am I doing it right? Am I doing it wrong?" And tha- that's, that's not you. That's not it. Th- that's it. That's, that's the desperation of a dying man.
[00:05:10] You know, I mean or a dying thing. It's the desperate last...
[00:05:14] You know, just before a lot of people die or animals die,
[00:05:18] they get up and bounce around and walk around and make some food and blah, blah, blah and they just get this huge burst of energy.
[00:05:23] Right?
[00:05:24] "Oh, they're better." And they'll be dead in the next day or an hour or two later.
[00:05:31] It's just common.
[00:05:32] And these are like flashes like that.
[00:05:35] The flashes of a dying entity.
[00:05:39] And you let them go by.
[00:05:51] You understand?
[00:06:01] Doesn't make sense or not?
[00:06:02] Yeah.
[00:06:04] All has to go.
[00:06:17] All has to be let go of.
[00:06:33] And to your advantage, you haven't got years of, uh, bridge building and undoing to deal with. You've got minimal, so just let it all go.
[00:06:57] And where people are able to get to that spot you're talking about quicker, wouldn't have to build as many bridges or canoes to get them there or taking as many obstacles or getting obstacles out of the way.
[00:07:12] So yeah, even after awakening, I had my teacher's voice in my head for so many things. And it was, some of it was helpful just for steering back, but at some point it, when you find a certain spot, it all has to go. Let it all go.
[00:07:26] And I had to unlearn a lot of teachings and ways that were actually to get you there.
[00:07:32] But they were unnecessary when you arrived.
[00:07:35] You know, you're at the jungle, you've got to Paradise Beach, you don't need the machete anymore.
[00:07:40] You've already made it. Everything you need is there.
[00:07:43] Everything's just sweet. Everything's exactly as it needs to be. You don't need anything anymore.
[00:07:49] You can put the machete down.
[00:07:51] Right? You can put the swamp boots down.
[00:07:54] You can take them off.
[00:07:55] All the all the rugged gear and everything can all be dropped away.
[00:08:00] You don't need them anymore.
[00:08:02] So makes sense?
[00:08:04] But that works extremely helpful, but you've got to let go of it like you still want to hold on to it because you're just so used to having your hand wrapped around the machete handle to get there.
[00:08:13] We just have to learn to let go.
[00:08:22] "But I really need my boots. They've done so much for me."
[00:08:25] No, you don't need them anymore.
[00:08:31] But my long pants for all the snake. No, you don't need them anymore.
[00:08:44] You've made it back home.
[00:08:47] You have everything.
[00:09:20] And it's okay. You've made it back home. You obviously deserve it,
[00:09:25] otherwise it wouldn't be so.
GLOSSARY
- The Falling Feeling
The proprioceptive experience of perception shifting from a solid, ego-based 'space' to the unbound nature of 'no-space.' Not a psychological drama, but a sign of dissolution. - The Heart's Doorway
A term for the direct entry point into Unconditioned Consciousness, bypassing the analytical mind. It is the beginning of the fall into 'no-space.' - Bridges (Spiritual Knowledge)
Conceptual frameworks and teachings useful for crossing a gap in understanding, but which must be 'burned' upon arrival to prevent confusing the map with the territory. - The Machete
A metaphor for a spiritual tool that was necessary to navigate the 'jungle' of the mind but becomes a useless burden once 'Paradise Beach' (Direct Realization) is reached. - Dying Entity
A clinical description of the ego-structure during its dissolution. Its last-ditch efforts to survive manifest as intense mental activity, doubt, and the urge to control. - Perceived Space
The consensus reality constructed by the mind, where 'up,' 'down,' and a separate 'self' appear to be solid facts. This structure dissolves during Direct Seeing. - No-Space
The reality revealed when 'Perceived Space' collapses. It is not a vacuum but the boundless nature of Consciousness, free from the mind's coordinates. - Allowing
An active non-action. The deliberate cessation of all interference, control, and mental commentary, permitting reality to reveal itself as it is. - Interference
The automatic activity of the ego-structure that attempts to manage, interpret, or 'correct' direct experience, creating the Mitoté. - The Direct Path
A methodology that bypasses incremental self-improvement and aims directly for the recognition of one's true nature. It involves dropping tools, not accumulating them.
