Becoming The Witness | Remaining As Awareness
Transcript: Non-duality Self-Realisation Satsang Meeting

Have you ever been to a movie and it's been so good, you're just so in it, and then time disappears? I've got to admit, that hasn't happened to me for a long time, but I remember it.
When you're just so absorbed in a movie, you almost forget you're in a
movie, you're right in there.
It’s knowing there's a dancing light on a screen and you're watching it.
You can be enjoying it, but every time the hero gets shot at, or gets injured, you don't cringe. Or, when somebody gets hurt you're not cringing, ducking and weaving and going through an emotional roller coaster.
You can hear the projector, you can see the light going over your head, you can hear everything in the room, you can hear the cars outside. You're not lost in the dream. But the dreams you’re talking about, they might go for five minutes, ten minutes, thirty seconds, two seconds, a lifetime;
completely absorbed in the character of dancing light, in dancing light.
In becoming the witness you gain an arms-length detachment, it's critical.
